Borrar "Shadow Copies" para liberar Espacio en disco en windows 2003

Cuando se trata de borrar por el file manager dichas copias, se presenta un error como si una aplicación de backup estuviera usando el servicio; para lo cual hay que abrir un "command Prompt" y ejecutar lo siguiente

"vssadmin list shadows"

Este comando lista las copias existente de una partición especifica 

Después se usa el comando "wimc" para borrar las copias existentes.

Install virtualbox guest additions on elementary OS

Para instalar hay que hacer los siguientes pasos:

Instalar los headers del kernel

$ sudo apt-get install build-essential module-assistant

ubicar la entrada en el dev del cdrom y montar el iso de virtualbox additions

$ lsblk

Instalar las virtualbox additions

$ cd vbox/
~/vbox$ sudo ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run

Trabajando con NBAC en un symantec appliance 5230. (2.6.1.1)

Estos pasos fueron realizados tanto para configurar inicialmente esta caracteristica en el appliance y despues se desactivo dado que se presentaron problemas en el acceso.

• Se creo un usuario administrador para el CLI; este usuario se adiciono mediante la consola web.

• Con ese usuario se entra al appliance para habilitar el NBAC, esta es la salida:

Como resultado no se pudo administrar desde la consola java el appliance.

•  Se deshabilita el IPS appliance para poder deshabilitar el NBAC. Aqui el log

Instalacion de Vcenter 5.5 en windows 2012 R2

Como la instalacion se detiene en el momento de los "Drirectory Services", hay que hacer los siguiente

1. Enable the Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services "Role" from Server Manager 2012 R2 - skip the LDS setup.
2. Copy the OCSETUP.EXE from a 2012 Server to the local Windows\System32 folder
3. Run vCenter Server Setup

Instalación de Gallery 3 en Centos 7 minimal - ambiente de prueba squashcompression

Debido a que tuve la necesidad de probar un software de compresion de imagenes ( squashcompression ), necesite crear un ambiente de prueba . He aqui el paso a paso, espero que no les incomode la mezcla de idiomas...

1.     instalación manual de centos 7

2.     instalación de LAMP ( Apache, Mysql, PHP)

a.     instalación de apache: yum install httpd

b.     instalar herramientas de red ( ipconfig, netstat, etc); yum install net-tools

c.      modificar archivo httpd.conf: el servicio de apache no esta “listen” en el puerto 80 y dando error por el nombre de la maquina, hay que entonces modificar el archivo de configuración  /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf colocando las líneas ServerName localhost y listen dir_ip:80

d.     detener firewalld o deshabilitar

systemctl stop firewalld           -- detener

systemctl mask firewalld         -- deshabilitar

e.     Instalar mysql:

                                               i.         Agregar el repositorio

rpm -Uvh http://dev.mysql.com/get/mysql-community-release-el7-5.noarch.rpm

                                              ii.         instalar yum install mysql-server.

                                            iii.         subir el servicio service mysqld start

                                            iv.         colocar el password del root de mysql ejecutando mysql_secure_installation.

f.      Instalar PHP

yum install php php-mysql

g.     Subir los servicios automáticamente

sudo chkconfig httpd on

sudo chkconfig mysqld on

h.     edit your PHP configuration file and set the following:

## vim/etc/php.ini

short_open_tag = On

i.       restart apache for the changes to take effect:

## service apache2 restart

3.     See PHP on your Server

vi /var/www/html/info.php

a.     adicione

b.     reinicie el servicio de apache

service httpd restart

c.      navegue a http://172.16.113.131/info.php

4.     create a new MySQL database for Gallery3

a.     using MySQL command line or any other tool like phpMyAdmin. Using command line, this can be achieved by running the following SQL statements:

## mysql -u root -p

mysql> CREATE DATABASE gallery3;

mysql> GRANT ALL ON gallery3.* TO gallery3@localhost IDENTIFIED BY '54YfQndxln';

mysql> \q

b.     Using phpMyAdmin

                                               i.         Método con YUM ( Preferido )

1.     Colocar el repositorio

# yum install epel-release

2.     instalar phpMyAdmin

# yum install phpmyadmin

                                              ii.         Método de descarga manual

1.     instalar wget 

# yum install wget

2.     Download phpMyAdmin.

# wget  http://aarnet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/phpmyadmin/phpMyAdmin-4.4.6-all-languages.tar.gz

3.    Descomprimir

# tar –xvf phpMyAdmin-4.4.6-all-languages.tar.gz

4.     Cambiar nombre al directorio

# mv phpMyAdmin-4.4.6-all-languages phpMyAdmin

5.     copiar los archivos a /var/www/html/phpmyadmin.

6.     Cambiar permisos

# chmod -R 755 phpMyAdmin

7.     Change directory and create a config file

# cd phpMyadmin

# mv config.sample.inc.php config.inc.php

8.     Now you can go to http:///phpMyAdmin/index.php and log in.

5.     Download the latest version of Gallery3.  Once you have the URL to the zip archive, pass it to the wget command and run the following:

## wget -O /tmp/gallery3.zip http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/gallery/gallery3/3.0.9/gallery-3.0.9.zip

## unzip -d /var/www/html /tmp/gallery3.zip

## cd /var/www/html/gallery3

## chown www-data: -R ../gallery3/s
